ROKAnol O3 - Oleth-3 - CAS 9004-98-2 is manufactured based on raw materials of natural origin, thanks to which ROKAnol® O3 is characterized by high biodegradability. An additional advantage is the low content of free ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane.
The hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of the product is 7.1, thanks to which ROKAnol® O3 is miscible with some base oils, e.g. it dissolves in mineral base oils and rapeseed oil methyl esters. The product is not compatible with rapeseed oil and is also characterized by poor solubility in water.
As a component of emulsifying packages, ROKAnol® O3 enables the formation of W/O (water in oil) and O/W emulsions, where the nature of the emulsion depends on the qualitative and quantitative composition of the entire package.
Emulsifying properties enable the product to be used in plant protection products, processing fluids and preparations for the flotation of non-ferrous metal ores. Due to its chemical structure, the product is mild in relation to popular construction materials. It has good dispersing properties. The surfactant can be successfully applied in oxidizing, reducing environments and in the presence of hard water.
ROKAnol® O3 acts as a component of cosmetic emulsions (creams, milks, balms), detergents in household chemicals and a dispersant and softener in washing compositions. ROKAnol® O3 can be used as a component of hair colouring and styling agents, as well as an emulsifier or dispersant for dyes. The product can be a component of compositions used for polishing various surfaces, such as furniture care aerosols or polishing pastes for the automotive sector.
Highly biodegradable product, compliant with the biodegradability criteria established in Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents.
