Emulsifier CAS - 9046-01-9 EXOfos PB-139 is a phosphoric ester belonging to the family of anionic surfactants. This product is based on ethoxylated tridecyl alcohol. It is characterized by a wide spectrum of useful properties and is well soluble in water. It has very good wetting and lubricating properties. It is a hydrotropic substance with high capacity to emulsify formulations.

The commercial product is in acidic form. It is a clear liquid, but it may also become slightly turbid at room temperature. Its acid number to the second inflection point ranges from 87 to 117 mg KOH/g.

EXOfos PB-139 is perfect for the textile industry. It is an excellent component of preparations dedicated to cleaning hard surfaces. EXOfos PB-139 also has mild EP, lubricating properties.

As an emulsifier , EXOfos PB-139 is used in many preparations for metalworking and products approved for indirect contact with food. Here it must be used in accordance with the definition and dosages imposed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in list 21 CFR 178.3400.

EXOfos PB-139 is also used in the production of paper and in water treatment processes.
